15 20 25 30 35 2 required. This means that when a workpiece, which requires low force, is subjected to the force of a staple gun with a strongly designed member, the workpiece is easily deformed by the impact of the driver against the workpiece, which when the workpiece is clearly visible, is often perceived as aesthetically offensive. When a staple gun with leaner means is used for a workpiece that requires high force, it happens that the clamp is not driven sufficiently in the workpiece, which can mean that the object you intend to attach to the workpiece is not attached satisfactorily.
These disadvantages have been solved in more expensive staple guns so that a second breaking point pin is inserted which can be passed between an active position in which the elastic member bends around the pin and an inactive position in which the pin does not cooperate with the elastic member. With such a solution, it has been gained that the staple gun can be set in different impact strength positions and thereby avoid aesthetically disturbing impact marks in the workpiece or substandard driving of the staple. However, in none of these previous staple guns has the impact strength been able to be varied in such a way that the gun has been able to be used for materials where a very small force is required and a material where a large force is required.
Problem There is thus a desire to provide a staple gun in which it is possible to vary the impact strength over a very large area.
Problem solving The present invention provides a staple gun in which the stated problem is solved with a staple gun of the above kind which is characterized in that the first distance at which the first breaking point pin is placed from the storage pin relates to the highest height of the upward movement which is 1.6-2.021. that the ratio is said to be 1.7-1.9: 1 Still further, the invention is characterized in that said ratio is 1.831. Furthermore, the invention is characterized in that the second distance at which the second breaking point pin is placed from the bearing pin relates to the highest height of the upward movement as 3.1. -3.7: 1. 10 15 20 25 30 35 3 In addition, the invention is characterized in that the last-mentioned ratio is 3.3-3.5: 1 Furthermore, in addition, the invention is characterized in that the last-mentioned ratio is 3.421.
Finally, the invention is characterized in that the second breaking point can be moved to a position in which it reaches contact with the elastic member when the driver has been moved half the distance h.
Brief Description of the Figures The invention will now be described in detail with reference to the accompanying figures, in which: Fig. 1 shows a staple gun seen obliquely from the front; Fig. 2 shows a view corresponding to Fig. 1 in which the front part has been exposed; Figs. 3-5 are side views in which the staple gun is in an initial position and in which the side facing the viewer is made transparent and in which the second breaking point pin is in three different positions; Figs. 6-8 are views corresponding to Figs. 3-5 in which the elastic member is tensioned and Fig. 9 shows the staple gun in a position before the driver is moved in its downward movement.
Preferred embodiment Example 1 shows a staple gun 1 which comprises a body 2 which has the length L and the height H. An activating member 3 is arranged to the body, the function of which will be described below. Figure 2 shows a driver 4 which is stored in a manner known to those skilled in the art in a longitudinal edge area 5 of the frame in such a way that it can be moved by the actuating member in an upward movement U. Furthermore, the figure shows a workpiece 6 and staples 7.
Referring to Figures 2-3, there is shown the coupling of the driver 4 to the actuating means 3. The actuating means comprises a lever 8 which is rotatably mounted with a pivot pin 9 to the body 2. The lever comprises a long arm 10 and a short arm 1 1. The short arm 11 comprises a tongue 12 which is inserted into a first opening 13 accommodated in the driver 4. The figures also show an elongate elastic member 14 which has the shape of a leaf spring.
The means is connected at a first end 15 to the driver 4 in such a way that the means is inserted into a second opening 16 arranged to the driver. At its other end 17, the elastic member 14 is connected to a storage pin 18. The body 2 houses a number of staples 7 which are stored in a magazine arranged in the body, which only schematically appears from the figures but which is obvious to the person skilled in the art. The staple is fed in the direction F forward by a feeding means which is not visible in the figures but which is obvious to the person skilled in the art. Furthermore, the figures show a first breaking point pin 19 which is firmly anchored to the body and arranged so that it is in contact with the elastic member. Between the storage pin 18 and the breaking point pin 19 is a first distance which is marked with a. A second breaking point pin 20 is also arranged for the body, which is in a known manner in a long hole 21 for externally arranged to the body 2 and arranged at a second distance b from the storage pin 18, see Figure 5. Between the breakpoint pin 19 and the second breakpoint pin 20 extends a spring member 22 which is so tensioned that it tends to move the pin 20 in the direction marked by the arrow P. Referring to Figures 3-5, a spacer 23 appears therefrom. which comprises an operating means 24 with which the spacer can be moved in a reciprocating motion T in a manner known to those skilled in the art. In Fig. 3 the spacer is moved to the right in the figure and the spring means 22 presses the pin 20 to its highest position in the long hole 21. the spacer member is moved to a center position and the member presses the pin 20 against the force from the elastic member to an intermediate position and in Figure 5 has the member is moved to the far left and the member has pressed the pin to a lowest position.
With reference to Figures 2, 3 and 6, it can be seen how the elastic elongate member 14 is tensioned. In Figures 2 and 3, the staple gun is in an initial position in which the driver is in a bottom position. In these figures, the second breaking point pin 20 is moved to its uppermost position and not in contact with the elongate elastic member. In figure 6 the lever 8 has been rotated around the pin 9 so that the long arm 10 is moved towards the body 2 at the same time as the short arm 11 is lifted and thereby the driver 4 lifts the distance h at the same time the opening 16 cooperates with the end 15 and lifts the elongate elastic member as a result of which it is bent around the first breakpoint pin 19 whereby the member is tensioned. In this upper position a lug 23 arranged on the lever comes into contact with a stop 24 arranged in the body, whereby the arm is moved in the direction marked by the arrow v, see figure 9, whereby the tongue 12 is disengaged with the driver and then the means 14 lowers the driver in a drive stroke which is marked with the arrow N to the position shown in Figures 2 and 3 and in connection therewith a staple 7 is moved in the workpiece to be stapled. In this position the elastic member comes into abutment against a stop lug 25 which prevents the driver from hitting unnecessary marks in the workpiece.
In Figure 5, the second breaking point pin 20 has been brought down into contact with the elastic elongate member 14 when it is in the initial position and when the actuating means lifts the driver in upward movement, the elastic member is bent around the pin 20 and thereby tensioned the elastic member.
In the same manner as described above, the driver is lifted to the height, after which the actuating means is released from engagement with the driver 4 and the driver of the elastic member is moved in a drive stroke N. In Figure 4 the second breaking point pin 20 is moved to an intermediate position and the elastic member will strike the pin only after the driver has been moved a section of raise the h.
By placing the first pin at a distance a from the pin 18 where the ratio a to h is 1.6-2.0: 1, it is gained that the elastic member is only tensioned to such an extent that unnecessary force is not struck against the workpiece when a staple driven in this. It has proved to be particularly advantageous if the relation has been made in the range 1,7-1,9: 1 and the relation 1, 8: 1 has proved to be very valuable.
For cases where a strong voltage setting is required, it has been found that an advantageous one is achieved if the second breakpoint pin is placed at a distance b from the pin 18 where the ratio b to h is 3.1 -3.7: 1 and the relation 3 is particularly valuable. 3-3.5: l proved to be and very valuable, the relationship 3.4: l has proved to be.
By placing these pins in one of the relations indicated above, it has been obtained that a staple gun with a highly variable setting of the impact strength positions has been achieved. Further increased variation is achieved if the other pin is placed in an intermediate position where the elastic member comes into contact with the pin when the driver is lifted 0.4-0.7 hours. The invention is not limited by the above description but is limited only by accompanying requirements.
